The purpose of this policy and procedure is to ensure participants receiving support with meals are provided with safe, nutritious and appropriate food and drink that meets their individual needs, preferences and cultural requirements.

This policy and procedure applies to all staff involved in meal preparation, food provision or mealtime support and meets relevant legislation, regulations and Standards.
