The purpose of this policy and procedure is to minimise the risk of infection to participants, staff and others by ensuring effective infection prevention and control practices are implemented across Empowering Connection’s services.

This policy and procedure applies to all staff and meets relevant legislation, regulations and standards. It should be read in conjunction with Empowering Connection’s Work Health and Safety Policy and Procedure.
