The purpose of this policy and procedure is to ensure food is stored, prepared and handled safely to minimise the risk of foodborne illness and support participant health and wellbeing.

This policy and procedure applies to all staff involved in food storage, preparation or meal support and meets relevant legislation, regulations and Standards.
